Once upon a time, there was a girl who really loved books and cats, it was me.

About rhianne…

Rhianne Williams is a British fantasy author from Somerset. She has published her YA Fantasy The Kane Saga and The Collective Series, along with short stories in the Whats In A Name Anthologies Once Upon a Name and Twice Upon a Name under the pen name R. S. Williams. She is currently working on her upcoming Romantic Fantasy novel.

Rhianne’s love of fantasy comes from the persistence of a loving mother who turned her daughter into a book worm. Leaving Rhianne to devour books like Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, Twilight and Inkheart, before moving onto Vampire Academy, The Divergent Series, Throne of Glass and The Avry Kazan novels.

Though writing stories didn’t come until the age of 18, Rhianne did try her hand at poems, playwriting and song writing first. Eleven year old Rhianne was very happy to get her poem published in the schools Hullabaloo book that parents get to buy. Sadly none of those avenues stuck until she wrote a secret fantasy short story that fuelled her love for the written word once more.

When she isn’t deciphering all of her scribbled notes or working on one of her many projects, Rhianne works part time for a small local business in customer service while looking after her young daughter. You’ll usually find her snuggled up with two furry feline companions reading a good book on the weekends, or watching the latest Netflix binge. She also has an unhealthy obsession with Pottermore and can tell you her Hogwarts house (Hufflepuff) and Patronus (Black Mamba) on demand.
